Salpiamo verso questo nuovo anno con cuore allegro e spirito di scoperta

We set sail toward this new year with a joyful heart and a spirit of discovery.

Logbook, January, Laura here.

I'm sure you'll agree with me: the start of a new year brings with it all the excitement of anticipation and a tantalizing veil of mystery. Paolo and I have gotten used to looking ahead, always without too much haste, enjoying the moment and keeping in mind what we have learned along the way, and it is with this awareness that we closed 2025.

We have realized how many people appreciate our clothes. In fact, when we launch a new collection, the items sell out much faster than we expected, and many people write to us saying they are sorry they didn't have time to order them. This recently happened with our Apollo velvet pants, which we offered in chocolate and antique pink.

This gave us the idea of pampering those who have followed us with affection and consistency for a long time, giving our newsletter subscribers priority and exclusive access to promotions and limited edition items. After all, a sense of community also comes through small gestures of care and gratitude.

New collection, inspiration, travel

In designing the new collection, we have reached the point where we need to finalize our ideas. Colors and models must become definitive, because we will be presenting the first garments in March and there is very little time left. But first, as we do every year, we will make a quick stop at the Milano Unica trade fair, where the trends and collections of fabrics and accessories for Spring/Summer 2027 will be presented, and then we will fly to Copenhagen.

The trip to Denmark will be a research trip, but also a pleasure trip. We can't wait to feast our eyes on everything Copenhagen has to offer, wandering around the city with woolen gloves and our faces pinched by the cold, possibly holding a nice hot coffee in one hand and a Kanelbullar in the other.

And then Germany

We are preparing to embark on another journey, this time directly from our atelier, as our clothes are currently arriving on the German market. It all came about very spontaneously. We realized that we were receiving completely unexpected orders from Germany, which prompted us to do some research. The German market proved to be very attentive and receptive to the issues of sustainability and natural fabrics. So, after a short trial period, we decided to take this important step.

This new project, which we have been working on for some time now, is an opportunity to grow our community by enriching it with a new language, sharing our products and ideas with as many people as possible.

It is also an opportunity to make new acquaintances and forge new collaborative relationships: for example, we are working with German professionals to review the website and create content. This allows us to immerse ourselves in a culture that is new to us and is very stimulating, so much so that I even decided to try my hand at recording a video in German!

In short, it's only January and everything here smells like revolution. We set sail for this new year determined to enrich ourselves, with our heads Full of ideas and the gentle spirit of someone who knows they are doing what they love, every day.
