Logbook, March, Laura here.
We stop for a moment, look at each other and take a deep breath. We are online.
On March 6th we presented the first capsule of new collection. It's always an exciting moment, with something cathartic after so many weeks of work.
Each collection is born from a profound concept and it is truly incredible what journey an idea can take. I like to think that each person holds a landscape of their own within themselves, and I feel that this collection can become the window through which I can show you a bit of my vision.

Below the surface - Inner gardens
Each collection is the sum of who I am, of what I feel and experience in the precise moment in which I am creating it and, then, it is inevitably influenced by the outside world.
In this case I started from the concept of space.
There are moments of the year that represent a peak of intense work for us and, promptly, when the situation returns to a state of calm, I feel the need to take refuge in a personal space of stillness and silence. In these moments I generally also put my phone aside to give myself as much offline time as possible.
It is there, immersed in my world, that I slowly begin to feel like a seed before flowering. In a space that becomes a refuge, I find the strength and spirit to regenerate myself, and my inner garden flourishes again. I believe that each of us should be able to give ourselves time to cultivate our own inner garden.

New spaces of contemporary freedom
We live in a time of great overexposure, perhaps a little overwhelmed by the idea of performance and the need for constant visibility.
Ours, despite being an artisanal activity, which has everything to do with manual skills and materials, lives almost entirely online. We don't have a physical store and this, if you think about it, is a huge opportunity to reach even those who are further away. At the same time, however, it put me in the position of having to learn to expose myself, because I am very introverted. To give you an idea, every single video I record as a protagonist for our Instagram page requires immense effort for me.
The theme of the collection, therefore, explores the emotional need to find space for oneself, away from the pressure of performance and constant visibility. It celebrates the value of personal time, care and silence, elevating them to new spaces of contemporary freedom.

Dresses like places to cross
The clothes are created to describe those places where ideas take shape, time slows down and everything feels free to grow at its own pace, far from the typical frenzy of life.
I imagined them as essential structures, which protect, accompany and allow the body to inhabit the space with ease. I needed to find natural materials that provide comfort, freedom of movement and the feeling of being welcomed. Each garment is created to tell the story of time through use. Hemp, cotton and linen, in fact, become living surfaces, designed to last and improve over time.

The trousers remain the heart of the collection. The Apollos are back, made of hemp-cotton and cotton canvas, together with two new models designed to offer comfort and freedom of movement.
Relaxed silhouettes, elastic waistbands, large volumes and textural fabrics create a new idea of an everyday uniform. We also introduced a lightweight hemp and cotton jersey that we used to create a new long-sleeve boat neck t-shirt.
There is a message between the lines, or rather, between the cotton threads, a brief manifesto of this collection and of how we understand time and life: a space to cherish. And we hope you can find that space too.
