There is a suspended time before the launch of each capsule which I love very much. The shooting is over, the photos are ready and beautiful! In the meantime, here in the Filanda the entire sample is paraded neatly on the drying racks and it is one of the few moments in which I can enjoy the overall work that has required so many months of commitment.
If now the clothes are complete and lined up next to each other, in the blink of an eye they will break the lines, because it is precisely from the sample book that we draw in the first place to take the sample garments for production, those that are sorted between the laboratories, the dry cleaners and the rest, but also those that we send to the creators to create their contents.
Suspended. The work is done and the launch is near
I love scrolling through the clothes from this new collection, it seems impossible to me that they are all really here, so well done. And to think that at the beginning they were only in my head and that the days before the shooting I was full of doubts and insecurities.
With each collection the number of items we present increases a little, until today we have never had so many different models all together. At the same time, their complexity also increases. I am grateful to have the opportunity to experiment with new models, without ever failing to offer what our customers ask for most. Thus, alongside our "workhorses" there are some interesting innovations, which arise from the search for new trends and the desire to experiment.
Fabrics, colors, new models
The idea of "everyday uniform", our fixed point, certainly must not be missing. In this case we applied it to lighter fabrics, for the hot months we will face. Hemp and cotton, soft denim and breathable hemp jersey create a relaxed, versatile and everyday wardrobe. The shapes are classic but never predictable, in a series of suits that can be worn at work, in free time or for an evening.
Among the new features: a light and "crisp" poplin fabric for a gathered blouse, balloon trousers with drawstring at the bottom and waist, designed to be worn at a lower waist than we are used to with other models; and then a dress to be gathered with elastic cords. Younger and more playful looks.
The palette develops around tones of brown, navy blue, amaranth purple and honey, with almond bases and small lilac accents that bring light and delicacy to the whole.
What inspired the collection
The path begun with the continues spring capsules Below the surface , where the gaze moves towards i Interior gardens, which are personal spaces made of passions, creative gestures and forms of expression that each of us cultivates within ourselves.
For this second capsule, I chose the vase as the symbol of the collection. The vase is an everyday and silent object, which contains the link between matter and transformation: it comes from the earth and takes shape through the hands. It is a container, but also a personal, unique and imperfect expression.
Ceramics, craftsmanship, creative gesture and materiality run through the entire collection, translating into essential but detailed garments.
There is also a graphic t-shirt, which also in this case interprets the concept of the season through shapes and compositions inspired by the Inner Gardens.

The wardrobe we dream of building every day with our work is slow and carefree, made to create, experiment and cultivate what truly belongs to us. It's always a thrill to work on a new collection, but even more exciting is to present it to you and to all those who support us and appreciate our garments.
I still enjoy this perfect moment in which the clothes are all here with me, until tomorrow I let them go on the adventures they are destined for.
