My name is Nadia. I have always been a graphic designer and illustrator, but I trained as a florist to fulfill my childhood dream.
"Il mazzolino - storie e fiori" (The Bouquet - Stories and Flowers) is my floral graphic design studio where I create floral arrangements and graphic designs to evoke emotions and make life's special moments unforgettable.
What does being a craftswoman mean to you?
Being a craftswoman is a wonderful profession: it means meeting people, connecting and empathizing with them, and sharing their stories, their lives, and their dreams.
Creativity and manual skills, a passion for original and personalized handmade creations, are my values.
With "Il mazzolino - storie e fiori" (The Bouquet - Stories and Flowers), I tell all this (and Laurels Apron overalls help me a lot in doing so!).
Why did you choose to wear the Apollo overalls?
During my days, which start early at the flower market and sometimes end very late when I work through the night in the workshop, I need comfort, versatility, and above all, to convey my personality.
I feel like I need lots of tools, all within easy reach: pockets are essential and help me work with agility, practicality, and efficiency.
High-quality natural fabrics allow me to feel comfortable even during an outdoor installation or market, even in winter (because you just need to add a fleece and you can work perfectly!).
Neutral colors allow me to add colorful details to personalize my image, with style notes that I enjoy varying from one occasion to another.
